I have been waiting over a year to have my site REMOVED from the adult section.

I have not sold adult items on that site in 2 years but still I am listed in the section.

I dont care if we get added to the regular section I just want out of the adult section. I can submit there and wait again.

I have done the "up-date listing" many times and I dont want them to think I am spamming,, and I even sent an email asking to be removed and nothing.

This is hurting our SEO and needs to be addressed. What can I do?

We don't remove site on request. We do however remove a site, or move it to another category, if the content on the site gives us reasons to do so. If your site does not fit our regular categories but does fit the adult categories it will not be moved or removed.

So the question is: does the website provide evidence to honor your request?

Ok so what should I do?

Go to the section I think the site should be in now and click the request a site link?

OR

Should I use the up-date listing in the section it is in now??

Also YES the site is clean. I know I cant post a link here but Frederick's of Hollywood is more risky that my site is now.

The update listing is the only mechanism that we have for civilians to request moving or removing a website. Editors usually process such requests with some priority but time scales are uncontrolled and uncontrollable. It may well be that nobody has volunteered to work in the category where your site is listed for a long time.

By all means raise a further update request in the category, being sure to point out that your site no longer has any adult content. That _should_ cause the website to be moved to a non-adult category (or removed if it's no longer listable anywhere). Time scales, as always, are uncontrolled.

Thanks for your advice,

I have done all that. I wish there was some other way to fix this because it is actually hurting the site.

Thanks again,
Bob
