URL correct in dmoz, wrong in google directory

Many months ago I moved a site that has been listed in dmoz for years. I submitted a URL update request and it was updated sometime thereafter (thanks!).

I just noticed that the old URL is still what's listed in the Google Directory. However, it appears that the Google Directory is based off of dmoz.

Do I need to do something else to get this URL changed in the Google Directory? Their submission links seem to lead to dmoz.

Google updates automatically (at least, from our point of view) at random intervals (again, from our perspective) ranging from one month to several months.

Neither you nor we have to do anything to make it happen, nor can we do anything to make it happen faster.

thanks for the response. i was afraid it was something like that. i think you updated my entry in dmoz about 4 months ago...so hopefully google will commence a random update soon.

It is rare to see the gap between updates extend to more than 6 months.

It has often been much less, but recently things seem to take much longer.
