I read that you should use the official website name when submitting to DMOZ. I'm not sure what that means. Aa an example, if your website URL is http://growing-apple-trees.com, is the official name "growing-apple-trees.com" or "growing apple trees.com" or something else like the home page title? Can you clear this up for me?

If it's a commercial site, the title should be the business name.
If it's a hotel or B&B, it should be its name.
Pretty much anything else, it should be the prominent title on the website.

That's possibly not a full list, but it's a working one. If what you suggest is wrong, the editor will fix it.

Reject website for no address while i have one in contact button.

Hi Jim Noble or other editors,

I have a website that was viewed by Jim to be suggested on DOMZ and he explained that there was no address on the website with which he could not find.

However, the address has always be online and is placed in the "Contact" button by not scrolling down the drop down box and instead clicking on that link. A quick preview is at <URL removed>

I hope this will now get me accepted into DOMZ as my address was already online. My website is also being updated and will have the address on the bottom of every page with the new template designed.

Threads merged.

Sorry about that - I was fooled by the unorthodox use of a dropdown.

I've suggested your website to Naas for evaluation - which is what I'd have done if I'd found the address the first time around.
