Use of ODP data

I am some what clear on the data use policy, but I would like to clarify. I'm working on a directory that would include sections of ODP, for instace the whole section for Arts, News and Science. Starting from the top level down. This is only partial ODP data but full categories. Is this use acceptable, give that the ODP attribution of adding the supplied html code is followed? Also, I will have a feature that will let users add their own listings to my directory, so there would be ODP listings and my own listings submitted. Is this acceptable? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for you post. Yeah I understand about misleading the visitors. I'm not charging for post so there is no issue for that. Thanks again.

Make sure that the "suggest a site" and "update" links do lead to somewhere logical at dmoz.org so that people submitting stuff do submit it to about the right place in the heirarchy.

Re:

Correct. I agree. That is the same way that Google uses it except that it does not have a paid submission. If you talk over the forums you will see most of the people submit to the google directory that finally gets that into dmoz and not directly into DMOZ. I am sure the DMOZ direct and Google Directory Submission numbers would be quite similar !!
