There is a site which used to be listed in the following category:

http://jcsearch.com/Top/Regional/No.../Localities/B/Beverly_Hills/Health/Dentistry/

However, it has disappeared. It is still on this site (which I guess took a copy of DMOZ a while back):

http://jcsearch.com/Top/Regional/No.../Localities/B/Beverly_Hills/Health/Dentistry/

Anyhow, could the reason be that we changed the URL of the site? We did place a 301 and just recently tried to update the listing but realized it was removed. Is there anything I can do to get the site reinstated?

Sites can be removed for several reasons. The most common ones being:
- one of our tools noticed the site was not available for a period of time => the site is moved out of public view and an editor will check and try to solve the issue
- the site does not meet our guidelines anymore (either the site or the guidelines changed) => it is removed
- the site has changed and does now better fit an other category => the site is moved and is now waiting review in the new category

No, there is not something as "the editor". Several 100s editors can work in a category and it is impossible to know (for you) which of those editors will look at your site.

If you are sure the site is still listable the best thing you can do is suggest the new url and in the description add a small note about the old url.
But first try to find the new url (it might be listed in an other category). Search with "domain.tld" (do not inlcude "http://" or "www" in the search)
