Can this method be considered as spam or how legal is that....

I am not quite sure what it is you want us to do? This forum is for you to check the status of a site suggestion you have made to DMOZ. We have no control or interest in how Google, Netscape or any other search engine's operate or rank websites.

It doesn't apply to anything in this forum, but I am not quite sure what the issue would be here. In my opinion, if I had a site that offered a product and another site (competitor or customer owned site) wanted to offer a link to their vistors to my site listed as one of their favorite links I would welcome the free advertising and vistors driven to me without extra effort or cash on my part.

As far as I know (just my opinion) there is nothing wrong with putting a series of links on ones site that direct visitors to related sites, especially if you show it as a beneficial site to visit.

You may always get a link to your site removed by taking the site down.

We have words for people who try to get legitimate links to their competitors removed. But we can't use them in this forum.
