Can you give me a status on submitting Virginia Estates to the following category:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Virginia/Localities/C/Charlottesville/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/
The problem is that the Frank Hardy site and Virginia Estates site are two different companies under separate ownership; it is a franchise arrangement.
See below:
I really appreciate your assistance in this matter, but we are still not listed in the following directory:
/Regional/North_America/United_States/Virginia/Localities/C/Charlottesville/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/.
As you and I both know, placement in the Open Directory is a very critical component in Web marketing, and we have been trying to get listed for almost six months.
I understand that because Frank Hardy Realty is already listed, it could create an issue with getting us (Virginia Estates.com) listed as well.
I’m asking for your help because it seems apparent that the DMOZ editor is unaware that Virginia Estates is a franchise and the two businesses are separate companies, owned by two different people. Virginia Estates is its own entity, owned by Richard Walden.
If you look at the accompanying print out of the Charlottesville real estate directory, you’ll notice that Century 21 has two listings:
CENTURY 21 Albemarle Properties - Full service real estate brokerage firm since 1972. Features extensive search engine and information about agents.
CENTURY 21 Manley Associates, Inc. - Includes homes for sale, real estate services, company profile, and career opportunities
In the same way, Frank Hardy Realty and Virginia Estates.com – Frank Hardy Realty, are two distinct companies owned and operated by separate management.
What can we do to bring this to the attention of the appropriate person at the DMOZ and get Virginia Estates.com listed as soon as possible? Is there any way possible that you can assist with this.
Thank you,
Richard Walden
