In general, it means nothing. In your particular case, an editor reviewed your site and moved it to the World hierarchy because of the lack of English on the site.

This request is moved now to the world index, ok

Is there someone who know every language?

One person that knows each and every language? Certainly not. But for every language in the ODP there are some editors who speak the language. If you look at the lower part of the main screen of this forum, you will notice that even here a number of other languages are found.

(And to judge which language a site is in, a lot of people can do that for languages they don-'t understand. Others can use one of the language guessers available on the net)

No. There is no right category in the English index for a Dutch site.

It means when anyone submits to the WRONG category, in ANY language, editors will send it to the RIGHT language, where editors will look for the RIGHT category.

That's OK; editors do what they can, when they can. And finding the right category for sites is what we do -- for sites submitted by people or for sites we find ourselves. So it isn't a big deal. For us.

For you, if the point of submitting a site is to get it listed as quickly as possible, then skipping the submittals to wrong categories, and submitting directly to the right category, may save months or years of waiting.
