We are trying to include our website for 1.5 years. We have clean website and US based med-size company behind it. We serve 15,000 active users.
Our site is <url removed>

We are submitting in the correct category, where our competition is...
Could anyone tell me what is wrong with our site and why it is not being included?
If payment is needed for inclusion we will gladly pay, but there is no indication that this is the problem.

Any help or clarification will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Michael

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

If payment is needed for inclusion we will gladly pay

DMOZ is entirely free. Suggestions of payment are not appreciated and can lead to a website being banned here.

There's really no way to "try to get a website listed", so I'm not sure what you were doing. There's a way of suggesting a website for review--that's all.

There is no way of knowing when it'll be reviewed, though. If it hasn't been reviewed yet, there's no reason to give--except that (so far) all the volunteers have been doing something else instead. We don't even have any way of knowing what that something else is (not that it matters anyway.) So there's no way of asking what happened on a suggestion--in all cases, you know more about the website than the ODP editors do.

There is no way to pay for an ODP listing: and trying to buy a listing can get a site permanently banned. (If you want to buy a review, check out yahoo.com instead.)
