It is easy.

find what you think is the best category and suggest the website.
An editor will (at some time) look at the suggestion.
If he/she also thinks it is the best category it will be listed.
If he/she thinks another category is better the suggestion will be moved to that category.

I have do that, but not response yet....

You will not receive any kind of notice when the site is reviewed. A volunteer editor will review the site at some time, we do not know when that will happen. It may take a short time or a long time.

@dmoz, unfortunately have submitted my site (online shopping) twice within the last six month. Any hope?
