warning about a dual submission

My company's site has recently been added to the following category http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Television/Infomercials/ .

While this is not a problem, we are quite happy to be on the DMOZ, I wanted to inform you that on the 14th of May I submitted Backchannelmedia, Inc. to the http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Direct_Marketing/ category. I just wanted to let you know because I know how important the rules are, I have just started working on my company's website and was unaware that the person who preceded me had made a submission.

The listing that is currently in the infomercials section has some errors so I am going to fill out the update listing form for the site. If it is at all possible for the editor of the Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Direct_Marketing category to send me a copy of the site description that I submitted that would be great, as it came straight from my boss and I have since forgotten it. If this is not possible that is okay, this is just a heads up about the multiple submission.

Thank you very much for your time and attention.

Site re-submission inquiry

I am posting here in hopes of receiving some information about the re-submission of my company's website to the DMOZ. In May of 2004 I personally submitted my site to the DMOZ upon the request of my boss. Unfortunately he had forgotten that he had submitted our site already. When our site showed up in a different category and with a different description than I had submitted, I immediately came to the forums and posted a warning message to the editors to inform them that we had accidentally submitted our site twice. You can view the post here .

Our site was pulled from the DMOZ not long after that. It has been over six months since then and I was hoping that I can once again submit my site for inclusion in the DMOZ. I have not been able to locate any information about this sort of re-submission and I did not want to break any rules that may be in place concerning this type of situation. So I hope that someone can help me find out what steps I should take to get my site relisted or can I follow the standard first time site submission rules? Thank you for your responses in advance.

Was listed incorrectly for a short while in Arts/Television/Infomercials

Moved from Arts/Television/Infomercials to Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Media_Production/Television/Commercials to be reviewed there.

Possibly awaiting review in Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Advertising
Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Advertising/Media_Buying_and_Planning/Television
Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Marketing_Support_Services/Media
and other places

It surely was submitted a few times. But it will only be allowed in one category.

Thank you for the speedy response.
So, what do you propose that I do. I do not want to create any more dual submissions or anything like that. I don't know why there were so many different submissions, the only thing I can think of is that one was from my boss, another was from the pervious web developer, and I can't even think of why there are those others. It would be helpful to know when the most recent submission was made. I know I submitted one in May. I would like to get my company listed under Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Advertising/Media_Buying_and_Planning/Television

Please advise me on what I can do from here. Thank you again.

I can't think of anything else you can do. Please do not resubmit, unless you don't think any of the categories bobrat mentioned are close to the correct category.

Okay, I will not resubmit again. Is there any way to delete all of the submissions except for the submission to

Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Advertising/Media_Buying_and_Planning/Television

so that my company doesn't end up in the same situation again? Thanks again for the help.

They will be cleared by editors as they are discovered. Don't concern yourself about it.
