Warning?

I got an email with ' Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours ' as the subject. I applied about 4 hours ago so is that bad?

Bad that you applied? Or bad that you received that message?

Here's where we guess the email address it was sent to, right? :crazy:

It would help to know, someone will probably be better to offer assistance with a little knowledge.

There was a known problem a few days ago where it was noted that mail was going to apply@aol.com which is not correct.

It was suggested to edit the message to go to apply@dmoz.org instead, but people are still reporting problems even with that.

Wait about a week and then start looking here for announcements that it is being fixed.

I hope you were trying to apply for reinstatement when you got that error and weren't trying to apply for a new editor ID. Trying for a new ID would be a very Bad Thing.

It was sent to <a href="mailto:apply@dmoz.org It was deferred.

And mosta I'm not sure what you're saying.

What I'm saying is that you were an editor and as such your only hope of becoming an editor again is to seek reinstatement, not apply for a new editor ID.
