Was I turned down?

I applied to be an editor for
Regional:North America:United
States:Texas:Localities:F:Fort Worth:Business and Economy: Real Estate.
I never heard back. Does that simply mean I was not accepted? Just wondering.

I would assume that the application was rejected. As I mentioned in another thread this morning, sometimes Yahoo and Hotmail spam filters will eat rejection letters. So there may have been a rejection letter, but you never saw it.

You might want to consider another category. Real estate categories are not the best place for a new editor. Sometimes they can be a bit spammy and it's not a place for a new editor

Just to be clear, I have nothing to do with accepting editors, or not.

Maybe you would want to apply for one of the Localities in Tarrant County? Close enough to home that you'd have a sense of the community, and could include some real estate sites so you could get used to their blechiness, er, challenges.
