Was just approved as an editor, now password not working!

Hi,
Just got my "congratulations and welcome to dmoz" email last night. Signed in to start looking at guidelines and such. But later in the evening, my login and password are not working. I can't even find a place to email someone to tell them I'm having a problem. Help!

Hi Alex,
That's so funny - I was about to write to you and say the same thing. Are we fired already? Alex...we barely knew ye. I didn't even get to do anything stupid or try anyone's patience yet!

I think we are not fired,I got my account approved this morning(HK time),then the only thing I did was changing my profile,no any editing jod done yet.In addition,there are other editors facing the same problem.
Beside,I want to know how to be titled as "Editor" in this forum?

make sure you have the works...

1. capps off
2. making sure all letters are capitolized or not, etc.
3. typing it in a few times...maybe you mis tyuped it
4. etc.

I highly doubt you would be fired right away lol...then again I don't know what goes on in the background (I could do my research...but it dosen't concern me that much lol). It's probaly just a bug in the software...CGI deffinately isen't my favorite language...it never works for me lol...I stick with my beloved PHP :)

I was approved last night and the little editor flag and moniker just magically appeared. Don't you just LOVE living in the computer age? Most of the time?

That was me, I changed you to editor here after I approved you into the directory. I've set you as editor too Alex Lai. See the other thread for info on the password problem.

It seems that this is a "common" problem for new editors :eek:

it's only common today though, I've never seen someone be able to login and then not hours later, the password file must have reverted to an older one.. odd.
