We can't access http://dmoz.org from china

like the title, I am from China, I tried to visit the URL: http://dmoz.org for several times, but I failed to open it, then I used proxy server: 222.43.34.94:80 , but still the same. I don't know why. :confused:

Your govenment bans many websites. You do not have the freedom of choice to visit every site on the web. Your government makes that choice for you.

Most likely you won't be able to access it (due to the reason giz gave), but this article from 2004 gives a pretty good summary about the current situation with internet access in china.
