Hi there,

Just checked with DMOZ directory to check which category we were listed in and to my amazement, we have been removed altogether, I assume this is an error and that we will be relisted at some point.

What is the best thing to do, submit the site again to the same category or to another alternative category??

Alternativly, I could do nothing and hope that an editor realises and includes us again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

As has been said in many other threads there are many reasons why a site can be removed. This removal can be temporary or permanent. In all cases there is no need to suggest the website again.

As you can read in many similar threads here, there are several reasons a site may be removed from view
1. It no longer meets the selection criteria.
2. It has been detected by automatic processes as unavailable.
3. It has been moved to a more appropriate category for review.
4. It has been moved for further review as part of on-going editor education.
5. Other reasons covered by the guidelines.

No site is guaranteed a permanent listing, and sites are moved or Unreviewed or removed all the time. There is no reason at all for you to presume this is an "error", but if you do believe this to be the case, you are welcome to suggest your site once more to the most specific category, where it will be reviewed at some stage by a volunteer.
