Website is listed in wrong category

Hello,

I suggest the website of darteltrampolines dot nl to this category:

/World/Nederlands/Webwinkelen/Speelgoed_en_Spellen/Buitenshuis/

because I think that this category is right for a dutch reseller of trampolines.

after a few month I noticed that the website is listed in a totally different category:

/World/Nederlands/Regionaal/Nederland/Gelderland/Gemeenten/Doetinchem/Bedrijven_en_Economie/

I there a way to change that?

Webwinkelen (Shopping) is only for sites that sell goods online.
Shops that don't sell online are listed within Regionaal (Regional) in the city they are physicaly located. Based on the address information of your site you are located in Doetinchem.

it looks like that this BIG directory is not big enough, there is no category about outdoor and toys in the Netherlands. That's why people suggesting toy related websites to this category. I thought that this is the good one.

By the way a shopping kart is not the only characteristic for a "webwinkel". If a company has very much information on his website and also a complete online catalogue then is this company doing serous internet business. There are products enough that are selling a lot via the internet without having a shopping kart on the website.

Edit: In the meantime is the listing of a website in a not related DMOZ category bad for the SERP's in Google...

Not so far as I know.
But your site is listed in a related category as I explained. The city your shop is physically located seems very related to me.

- an overview of products => yes of course all products are there
- a list of prices => the complete pricelist is accesible via the product index
- one or more ways to order the products over the Internet => The customer can order while sending an e-mail or using the contact form

I don't agree with you...
the site is about trampolines and outdoor toys and not about Doetinchem or the local region...

Ahh. that seems to be the misunderstanding
Regionaal/..../Doetinchem is not only about the city but also about all companies and organisations that are located in the city. You have a physical shop and on your website you state customers can visit that shop.

I have looked at your site in great detail and I agree that it isn't a webshop according to DMOZ definitions.

the site about companies is mixed up with links to websites from all type of business, this is absolutly not a related inbound link to my website...

Of course it's not a webshop, in this short list of websites about shops for outdoor toys is also the link to an pedal go-kart manufaturer, is this a mistake?

because pvgool told me that the category "Shopping / Webwinkelen" is about internetshops. The site (the mistake) I mentioned is a manufacturer with dealer network they sell nothing via the internet (I know the outdoor toys business in the netherlands :D )

I don't know if listing that site was a mistake but in its current state that site should not be listed in the Webwinkelen category. Thanks for letting us know. I have moved it to the correct category (it can take a few days before this is shown on the public server).
