Hey Hi everyone!!

I been trying to submit my blog for over 6 months now in the chess category and it is not getting approved and I wonder why it is not getting approved. It is pretty much authority chess blog and GM Susan Polgar, GM Kasparov all of them have recommended my blog to new chess players but when I submitted my blog it got rejected for unkown reasons. Can someone tell me why

<URL removed>

is not an appropriate listing under http://www.dmoz.org/Games/Board_Games/Abstract/Battle_Games/Chess/

Please let me know if I have stolen, junk, or other random copy/paste content on my blog. I am an FM with an elo of 2000+ and my articles are all on specific topics of chess. It cannot get any more specific than a chess player who is playing chess for 20 years writing on topic of chess and not getting listed over in that category.

Even I have no Adsense ads trying to make money from adsense. Totally clean site with all useful information still not included. Is there a way I can contact the editor of that section.

Which one? Over 200 volunteers have permissions to work there if they wish.

There's generally nothing to be gained by bugging editors directly; let your website speak for itself. You can check whether or not it's listable here.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

No site is ever treated this way.
As jimnoble has reminded you, the Selection Criteria are freely available, so it is easy for everyone to tell if a site is not suitable for listing.

On the other hand, if you mean that your site was not listed within a time frame that suited you, perhaps you misunderstand the purpose of the ODP, which neither offers nor provides a listing service for webmasters. Fortunately, there are a number of other directories which do offer this service, and many of them are listed here: http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Directories/
