Hi

I have made several attempts to list our website <url removed> on dmoz but there has been no replies or any positive action. Your quick reply would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Please read the FAQ. Your questions are answered there.
You won't get any replies, not when a site is listed and not when it is rejected.
Oh, and please stop suggesting a site several times. Our guidelines ask you to suggest a site ONCE.

Per the announcement stickied at the top of every forum here, we no longer provide site suggestion status checks.

There is never an issue with a site getting listed, because no site is guaranteed a listing, and most sites are never listed.

If a site is not guaranteed a listing, still less can it be guaranteed a listing within a specific time frame. And "age of site" is generally NOT one of the critera that editors would look at.

Thanks

First I would like to thank the meta-editors for such prompt replies. I assume that you are aware of the url of my website which I am referring to. I was said that it has been not approved because of duplication with our parent website which I need to discuss to the meta-editors that it is not any duplication website and it is just purely an online clothing store and it sells many products which are different from our parent website which is just a gifting store selling flowers, cakes and many gifts. Please do not confuse between these two websites as duplication. I am ready to prove the various TV adverts we do for this clothing store in USA and Europe. Please look into the asian TV media where we advertise our store. Also we have filed this website for trademark registration and I am ready to provide those details just to confirm you guys that it is a genuine business and not duplication. I sincerely request the meta-editors to accept and review my request and ask me if they need any further clarification. If required we can also do necessary modifications in our parent website or this website to meet dmoz guidelines.

which I need to discuss to the meta-editors
Sorry but we don't discuss individual sites.
DMOZ prefers not to list related sites. Are your sites related? You have already given the answer in your previous posting.

If required we can also do necessary modifications in our parent website or this website to meet dmoz guidelines.
You should build your website(s) for your visitors not for Serach Engines or Directories.

You have been absolutely, crystal clear, no clarification will ever be necessary. I hope I can be as clear.

Read, extremely carefully, the part of the submittal policies dealing with "related sites" -- and the consequences of violating them.

This is serious: you've already violated those policies, and you're obviously prepared to persist. Is there anything that can be said to convince you that it is our duty to ensure that persistence will DEFINITELY be counterproductive?

We do not list sites based on what the webmasters say about their site(s). We list sites based on the content of the site, and nothing else. If an extra explanation is necessary, it should be on the site, not in some forum which the people who use the site will never see. So there really is nothing to discuss here; the information is on the site, or else it isn't.
