What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure why my site does not seem to meet the right criteria to be listed. The category I am posing to is relatively small and specialized http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Classifieds/Watercraft/ and has an active editor. I recently found out about this forum and tried to apply the guidelines to make my site conform.

(and I apologize for recent re-submission, but I made changes as per info found here and wanted to make sure it was considered.)

Can someone give me any suggestions as to what I may be missing?

Thanks!

First: For a question like this, the "Site Submission Status" forum would be much more apropriate.

Second: It simply has not been reviewed yet - still waiting. Maybe because of resubmissions - which overwrite the previous one. If the editor prefers to sort by submission date, he maybe won't ever get to your submission this way.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info. Category > Sorry, I thought "Site Submission Status" was only for status reports, not questions about sites conforming to guidlines...will address in the right category next time!

You did nothing wrong AFAIK. You could have provided a clickable link to the ODP category you submitted to, as requested in the Forum Guidelines, though:
  • In the body of your post, include a clickable link to the category you submitted to. The simplest way to do this is to copy and paste the category you submitted to (i.e. http://dmoz.org/.... ). [/list:u]

Your submission is waiting in that cat, and I couldn't find any indication that it had been deleted or reviewed by anybody before you re-submitted. Please be patient, all editors are volunteers with no obligation regarding the amount of work they do.

    [Ack, way too late!]

Will correct the post as per your instructions. Thank you for pointing that out!
