Hello,
I hope it is allowed to use this forum to ask such questions:

My site www.notfalllabor.de used to be listed in DMOZ some years ago.
Then, for no reason (or better: for no reason I know), it disappeared.

It was listed in
World: Deutsch: Wirtschaft: Gesundheitswesen: Produkte und Dienstleistungen: Diagnostik
(at least if I remember correctly).

I tried to resubmit it a couple of times - but I hope, I did not "spam" or something.

I found out, that it is somewhat blacklisted for DMOZ, because it is accused of being a mirror to www.mut-berlin.de .
It is correct, that both sites are made by me, but they have nothing in common!

One ( mut-berlin.de ) is used as our company's Homepage (the usual stuff: profile, products we sell, etc.), while the other is some kind of an internet portal, on which different companys may present themselves and their products.

I tried to contact the Editor of that category, but I'm not sure, if that's the best way.

I really would appreciate to find out, what happened or what mistakes I might have made?

I hope, you can help me with my problems!

Thank you very much,
best regards from Berlin,
Daniel

Hi there,
well actually I did read this articel and that's why I did not ask for the status.
I know, that it has some status like a mirror site
( Please don't list - Mirror of or Relocator to ... )

I asked here to find out, what I probably did wrong (to avoid such mistakes in the future) and if I did, how I could correct it.

Thank you anyway,
best regards,
Daniel

You did nothing wrong. Your company can develop as much content as it likes, on as many domains as it wants to buy. And its main site can link to all of them -- or not.

But there's no need to get the ODP involved. The company has an ODP listing. But if you add significant content to the company's web presence, you could suggest a change in description to the listing on the company's main site.

Ok, thank you for your reply.

Still I don't see the point, because if I hadn't added a correct imprint, both sites would have appeared as independent as they actually are - but anyway, I don't want to judge over the rules.
At least I know now, what has happened...

Best regards,
Daniel

D-aus-B, yes, in life it sometimes appears that deception gives one a temporary advantage. The ODP is no different in that respect. But I still do not recommend it as a general practice.
