what happens after approval of a submission?

Dear Members,

Assuming that I have submitted my Website in a specific category which the fact is I had. My Website is http://www.governmentgrants-guide.com and the category whic I submitted for is: Top: Society: Philanthropy: Grants (636).

Now my question is that (regardless of the real example of my own website), what happens when a submission is being approved and the website is listed? Does the admin of ODP send an email to the webmaster and inform him or her? Should the webmaster check the status regularly and find it out himself? Please advise.

No, we don't send out mails. If you want to check wether your site is listed, you have to look yourself, I am affraid.

The reason is, that we don't see the ODP as a tool to help webmasters promote their sites but as a tool for users to find sites. So our main concern is about our users, not about webmasters. Site sughgestions are just regarded as a help to the editors, nothing more.
