What happens when non of your categories have an active moderator?

Its obviously a difficult thing to get listed, but when the categories that apply to you have no active moderator, we dont have a chance at all. I would gladly become the editor of the category and keep up with it, but the "Become an editor" link on those categories are also gone.

What can I possibly to to not only get our site listed, but to help the quality of moderation in these categories?
