What if a part of the directory doesnt have an editor?

I have suggest the url of our company a couple of months ago to the Asia: China: Business and Economy: Employment directory of dmoz but it seems there is currently no editor active for this part of dmoz. (they invite people to apply to become an editor on this page and there lot of broken links and very old not up to date sites listed)

My question: does anyone (another editor) receive the notification of my suggested url or do i have to wait until there is finally a editor active for this subject and submit our site url again?

Thanks windharp for your quick reply. (wish some editors are this quick ;). I quess i just have to be patient in this case. If a site got rejected or added, does dmoz tells?

Well, anyone flagged here as a Meta can edit anywhere in the directory so technically windharp is an editor of that category. ;)
