What is the reason for decline in my website ranking?

Hi,

My website had a very good ranking earlier but due to some issues from the developers end caused a decline in the ranking. Reason being the changes in htaccess. The issues has already been resolved and my website has also been cached by Google but there are still no improvments in the ranking. Kindly give your valuable suggestions to raise back the ranking.

When editing becomes available, if your site was removed from the directory for htaccess reasons, you might resuggest it.
