What's Taking So Long?

It appears that the editor in my category hasn't edited anything since 12/26/07. I've been patiently waiting for some action on my submitted URL...but its been going on 3 months.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

Is this common for a category editor to not actively edit for long periods of time?

What are my options at this point to get some activity going in my category?

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback!

If you're going by the updated date at the bottom of the category, that could have been anyone with access editing there. If there's a listed editor in the category, it may or may not have been him/her.

Three months is not abnormal. It can take anywhere from days to years for a suggested site to be reviewed.

Just because a particular category has not been edited in a certain time period does not mean that editors with editing access to that category haven't been active elsewhere. Even if there was a listed editor and that was his/her only category, editors are volunteers and are not obligated to edit any more frequently than they want.

Really, all you can do is just do whatever you would normally do. Someone will eventually review the site but we can't tell you when that might be.

Your proprietary claim on the category may not be universally recognized.
