I have a site under my company name that has been in ODP for years. The site is for computer pogramming consulting services. Later on I created a web site under my own name, which promotes me as a consultant. Same phone number on the web sites, and if you look carefully you might figure out it's the same person. I have two sites, cause some cleints would rather deal with a company, others with a person. ALso if I subcontract, then the company I'm working for, shows my personal web site to the end client.

The question is, can I submit the second site to ODP in a different category than the first? If it's clearly wrong, let me know. If it's maybe, or subject to the editors mood, then if I submit it and it gets accepted, then later someone eventaully notices and complains, do both sites get kicked off?

I would say its not listable. A bit difficult without beiong able to see the sites, but in general we apply a "one site per company" rule - wich I would say applies here, too.

I agree with Windharp. If a company/person publishes more than one website, describing similar sevices/products, in order to target different customer groups then only one site (preferably the main URL with links to all other sites) should be submitted to the most appropriate category.

The situation might be different if the websites describe completely unrelated services/products (i.e. computer programming and food processing).
