Which category for photographer site

Hi all,

One of the guys who I do a web site for is a professional photographer specializing in beauty pageants. He also does events, celebrities, sports, fashion, weddings, dance schools, and much more. He is easily one of the top photographers in the world with many photos you can only see on his site. I won't list the URL cause I know it's against the rules, but can anyone suggest the best category for such a site? I know it would make a great addition!

Did you try to search on DMOz for 'photographer'.
It will show you a list of categories.
Which category is the best depends on the contents of the site. Is it more about the artist and his work http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Photography/Photographers/ could be a good palce to start. If the site is more about the business aspects of him http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Photography/Photographers/ might be a good place.
Read the description of these two categories to determine which would fit best for the website.

If the photographer has a studio that people can visit then it is perfectly acceptable to also suggest the site to the physical locality where the studio resides.

If there is no subcat for Photographers, then suggest it to the business and economy subcat in that locality. Resist the voices from the dark side that will tell you to suggest it to the next larger community, or the nearest metropolitan area because that is where they market.

Also, resist the voice from beyond that tells you to suggest it to Business and Economy in the locality in Regional -- photographers go in Arts and Entertainment in the locality in Regional.

See, you retire and immediately forget where to put things, along with where you put you keys and your teeth.
