As uzs said: enter a second submission for the regional category. Each URL of regional and topical interest may be listed twice, once in Regional and once in the correct topic.

Wait wait pls. Here is a problem. Please advise. Based on DMOz, 'Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites.' Is it that safe for me to re-submit my site to regional category?
Many many thanks.

Would we have advised you to submit then? No. As stated somewhere in the guidelines (forgive me, but I'm to lazy to look it up right now) a listing in the Regional/ tree is independent of a topical listing.

Of course this only applies on sites of regional interest. For example a local store or a company producing in a special town or something like that. The idea is, that people looking for businesses in their hometown should be able not only to find the local drugstore but even the big companies.

Sorry for my misunderstanding. Based on your kindly suggestion and below sentence from somewhere:
"Well, if you feel that the site is valid to be listed in its current category then leave it there. If you feel in addition that it can be listed in the Regional portion of the directory then the best thing to do is to submit it fresh to the Regional category using the Add URL link."
What should I do now? Confused.
Hope for your help. many thanks.

What is being said is that:

1. Your site is fine where it is.
2. You can have an additional listing in a Regional category if you wish. This will not affect your original listing.

Thanks a lot.
So, If the site is only relevant to its Regional location, the best thing is to submit an UPDATE URL request to move it from the Topical category to the Regional category. (Type your request in the 'Reason for change' field.); Whereas if the site is suited for both listing, using the ADD URL link to submit it fresh to the Regional category is a good idea.
Let me know your thinking please.
With kind regards,
Karen
