Which category to submit site to?

Hello!

To make a long story short, the site http://www.pokerroom.st was submitted a while back to the ODP and rejected (thank goodness-- it was really not up to par and made us realize how much work needed to be done). The site was changed completely, filled with tons of unique, informative, interesting articles, and resubmitted-- and declined again. All I would like to know is if it was submitted to the wrong category (it was submitted to the Gambling/Poker cat).

The reason I am asking is because the site is called "The Poker Room Guide" and deals with tons of information related to playing poker in online card rooms, but the focus is the game of poker in both the online and offline world, and NOT focused on providing information about specific online card rooms. Because of this unclarity in the title, we were unsure where the site should be submitted to and just submitted it to the main poker cat. I know personally (I have some good friends who are hard working editors and took some time to look over our site) that editors are not supposed to just delete a site if it's submitted to the wrong cat, but I would just like to know if that was the case in this matter, since it seems unlikely that the site wasn't appropriate and then I would just resubmit to the appropriate cat.

thanks for your advice!

Submitting to the wrong category is common enough that editors know how to handle it; our editing software helps them handle it very efficiently...much more efficiently than this forum could.

So we ask people not to use the forum for that. Submit to the closest category you can find, and the editor will take care of the rest, from there.
