You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Contacting individual volunteers to expedite listing suggestion processing isn't a fair thing to do and we discourage editors from responding because the ensuing conversations all too often end badly.

Why do you start several threads asking the same question over and over again? Do you think that the answer will change over time? Well, it doesn't.

see http://www.resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54057&highlight= "1 years ago,my website still could not been showed in DMOZ"
and http://www.resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48844&highlight= "Please check my site again... ..."

Making numerous suggestions and sending several emails can easly backfire. If I would receive several emails from the same person asking for a favor I might make a mental note to look at that website last and first review all other suggested websites.

Dear Sir:

I remember how my first link had been added . I had submitted it to DMOZ for more than 1 year, but it hadnot been added. So i submit help in this forum, and then my link had been added very soon . Now my new site still occur the former promble, and i only want to get help.

I believe that at least the editor need to reply me or do any other thing.

I would attribute that to coincidence.

That's erroneous, and wrong. The editor will NEVER need to contact you for any reason. Which is a good thing for all concerned.

As you did not get a reply (and never will) the editor probably did some other thing. That other thing might be reviewing a suggested website (you are not the only one to suggest websites) or any of the other tasks an editor can perform. It might even be a thing completely outside DMOZ, it is called real life.

I donot know what you mean? Do you mean that those editors have no time to review the submitted link? I only believe that my site <url removed> have a qualified right to be added into DMOZ.

I mean that all editors only spend as much time as they want on DMOZ. And that they spend that time in a way they themself prefer. It might be spend on reviewing websites or it might be spend on other tasks. We do not control how much time editors spend and how they spend their time. The only thing we ask them is that if they do something for DMOZ that it is done according to our guidelines.
