Why is my listedsite not on the ODP search engine?

First I would like to thank the editor for listing my site. I didn't know it was listed because I checked and it didn't show up. When I submitted my site I was told that it was already there. I can find it when searching by category so I know where it is but why will it not show up when searching for the Title or Keywords? I also see at the bottom of the page that "search was last updated june7 2004" Thanks

You have to remember that DMOZ is not a "search engine" like google. It is a directory of the web.

Because ... search was last updated June 7, and your site was added after then.
