My site, (URL not allowed) , is listed on (category irrelevant), in last year; but now I check it & it's removed out DMOZ

Can you tell me the reason? And I re-suggested it about 2 months ago, is it appllied? And when?

Thank you very much

@sunfeye: what's your antivirus? Can you tell me the virus your AV alert?

Thanks to pvgool & hutcheson.

@hutcheson: "category irrelevant" is the reason my site removed?
The third scenario is that the site was originally listed in error – either as the result of a mistake, an editor's misunderstanding of the listing guidelines, or abuse – and should not have been listed in the directory in the first place

And I re-suggested 2 months ago, at this category irrelevant as you say; now I have to suggest to new category?

Looking forward you & different editors

Thank

No. I am not hutcheson, but I (sometimes) understand what he means: "irrelevant" means that since we don't discuss specific websites here, which category you suggested the site to doesn't matter for the discussion. It was not a comment on whether your site was relevant for the category or not.

If your site was removed from the category it was listed in because it was not relevant for the category (and remember that I don't know if that is the case or not), but still listable in the directory, it was moved to a more appropriate category by the editor who re-reviewed it in the first category. If that editor doesn't have editing rights in the second category, the site will wait there until an editor who can edit there comes along. This means that there is no need for you to suggest the site again.

thanks to @nea; but as I said, I made the re-suggestion about >3 months (because I didn't know when my site removed)

...more appropriate category by the editor who re-reviewed it in the first category. If that editor doesn't have editing rights in the second category, the site will wait there until an editor who can edit there comes along...

this thing means I (and others) can not when site listed? All everything are depended on editors?

Correct. Noone knows when a site will be listed. Not even the DMOZ editors do have that knowledge.

And the second part is also correct. All volunteer work depends on the people who volunteer to do the work.
