I know DMOZ directory arround 1 year ago, at the beginning I do know the submit policy in details so I think my website has been rejected, too many advertize words in the title or decription. But I tried to learn from other websites on the DMOZ directory and I resubmitted again, this time the title and description are plain at all. Months past, the result is the same, why it is so hard to submit the website to DMOZ?

FYI

My website is <URL removed>
I choose software-3D modeling directory
Title: Packmage CAD carton box design software
Description: Packmage CAD is a carton box design software.

That's all, there's no problem with my title and discription, why it doesn't take it?

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Yes there is because they are pretty much identical. Don't worry about that because we'll rewrite them when we get to it.

We don't give any news - if an editor lists a site, it shows directly in the directory - otherwise it is most probably waiting for an editor to review it. :)
