There is nothing that can be done.
You should ofcourse have read the DMOZ guidelines, and acted acoording to them.
Suggest a website only ONCE to the ONE best category.
Please do not suggest the website anymore.
Sometime in the future each website will be reviewed.
Time between suggestion and review can vary between a few days and several years.

I realy do not understand why you all ask exactly the same question.
Do you realy think the answer for you will be different than for those other people asking the same question.

DMOZ is a project run by volunteers, which are called editors.
Editors can use the pool of suggested websites to build the category.
But they can also ignore those suggested websites.
We are not in the business of listing suggested websites. We are building a dirtectory. We can get websites from anywhere. Some use the pool of suggested websites, others use Google to find usefull websites, other use local newspapers to search for companies in their locality.
A suggested website is nothing more than a suggestion. Nothing more nothing less.

And one important point. DO NOT SPAM THIS FORUM WITH LINKS TO YOUR WEBSITE
the last 2 posters did spam us, which we ofcourse noticed and removed their hidden link, they are lucky that they were not removed as spammer
Spam DMOZ and you and all your websites might be blocked and never included in the directory.

Be very careful choosing the category where you will submit your website.
Choose a category that is relevant to the OVERALL theme of your website.
Choose the correct regional category for your website.

If you want to suggest a website to DMOZ you do not need to register.
Just find the category that matches the subject of the website, click the link at the top of the page called "suggest URL" and fill in the form.

There are several possible reasons for this, the most likely is that no volunteer editor has yet reviewed the site(s)... All you can do is check the site(s) is/are listable against our guidelines, and suggest it/them once to the nearest category you can find. :)

@Elper I read all the guidelines on submission time. I know guidelines are most important, if you doing any kind of activities. Problem is that why my business rivals are there and we are doing same kind of business (Selling Dish TV Products) and I have listed my website in this category (/Regional/Asia/India/News_and_Media/Television/). Now let me know why my rivals there and why I am not?

Hi, as mentionned above, no editor has yet reviewed it - editing is a hobby activity, and no time scale is given for review. We aren't able (as in allowed) to discuss individual sites here, but I don't think the type of site in your profile would be placed in Regional/Asia/India/News_and_Media/Television anyway. More likely places include Shopping/Consumer_Electronics/Communications/Digital_Satellite or Regional/Asia/India/Business_and_Economy/Shopping ...
Let us know using the "update listing" feature in the category if there are any listed sites which need moving :)

All people come here all the same problem,I think if DMOZ refuse its website,it must give some reason.

or we just wait and no result.

We already provide the reasons why we refuse websites.
And everybody agrees to have read those guidelines when they suggest a website.
As you should not suggest websites that we will refuse there is no reason to tell anybody a suggested website is refused during review.
The honest / smart people will get their website listed (we just can not tell you when that will happen as we do not know ourself).
Dishonest and/or stupid people suggest unlistable websites. We are not going to tell them we noticed their attempt to get their website in DMOZ.

I'll add that the publicly submitted sites are viewed as "suggestions" which may (or may not) be useful to an editor building a category.
All we can promise is to review the site, but we can't predict when this will take place, or what the result will be - the best option for people wishing their site to be included in the directory is to suggest it once to the most appropriate category they can find, then get on with their lives, and perhaps one day have a pleasant surprise.
Webmasters can apply to be editors, as owning one or many sites is not a bar to editing - we just look for impartiality when working in the directory.
