Why no ODP Chat?

Forums or bulletin boards serve their purposes as question & answer and archives. But, why is there no chat for ODP editors? Seems it's important enough to merit a chat room. Also, this might be a way for ODPers to get to know eachother, better.

While there's no official "ODP chatroom" several "unofficial" ones exist.

We also have a totally internal message board which does a good job of letting editors get to know one another. There is no lack of chit-chat on those forums <img src="/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />
