I suggested a new wedding directory well over a year ago...

(URL removed per forum terms of service)

It has still not been added to the directory. I made an inquiry over six months ago and got no response. Any ideas, anybody???

There's no mechanism for tracking suggestions (except internally, for the volunteers who may need to see what's been done with a site before, in order to do their job.)

As you know you've suggested the client, there's nothing else you need to do, and therefore, no information you could use.

it takes time for many reasons!

1. Editors are volunteers so they have to set time aside to edit their categories
2. A category may not have a sole editor editing the category
3. Your submission might not have been within guidelines
4. Your website may not be within guidelines

There are editors who search the web/local forums to find new links for their categories.
Make sure to participate in forums that is relevant to your website
(do not spam the forums) Participating and spamming are two different things.

Doing this 'may' get your site noticed by editors
I added about 3-4 listings in my category because I frequent a local/national forum.
