Title: The Wildlife Store

Description: - selling wildlife gardening products for birds, hedgehogs, butterflies, ladybirds, bees, etc. plus interesting projects, facts and wildlife information.

http://www.thewildlifestore.co.uk/index.html

I can't see anything wrong with this! I've tried removing 'selling' and 'interesting' in case they were deemed promotional language or value judgements but to no avail and tried removing the dash. I'm not willing to remove 'Store' as that's the official name. Description is within permitted 25 words. The grammar is fine. The list of animals maybe construed as a keyword string?

Any ideas?

Are you having problems actually submitting the site or have you successfully submitted the site but you can't see it listed?

If you have actually submitted the site (and got a confirmation screen) you can obtain a status check in the correct forum after a month has elapsed since the last submission.

If you have been unable to submit the site then can you provide a little bit more information like what category are you trying to suggest the site to and what is happening (eg: what error message are you getting) and we can look into it further for you.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The website hasn't been reviewed, let alone rejected.

And when reviewed, the editor will look at your best efforts at title and description -- before writing a title and description that he alone is responsible for, and that he is responsible only to the project community for.

If your title were much worse than it is, we wouldn't reject the site over it. We'd just rewrite the title.

So I say again, we never did anything to that site, and we wouldn't ever do what it seems like you're thinking we did. Other than that, all makes sense.

Submission failed

Yes I can provide more information.
I was trying to submit to

"Top: Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Business and Economy: Shopping: Home and Garden: Gardens: Wildlife"

The submission (not review) failed and I got an error message saying:

"Bad Title or Description
Please rewrite your site description to fit the guidelines on the submission form. Remember that descriptions should use proper capitalization.
Please go back in your browser if you need to resubmit the form."

I tried many variations and all have returned the same message.

If the error message has any meaning at all, then pay more attention to it than you already have.

1. Capitalization - cap. the first word in the description.

2. Remove "etc"

You can program only so much, but the above may just be obvious and sufficient enough to reject your submission.

Sorted

Thanks for the help folks - some good advice.

I think some of the language on here is stronger and bossier than it needs to get your message across but thanks anyway.
