Why was www.sportsticketsunlimited.com rejected?

I was told the notes state "eventinventory.com link" and I don't understand what this means or why this would result in my domain being rejected. My business sells everything direct and maintains an extensive inventory. However, we also Partner with a national ticket broker to expand our inventory/reach.

Can someone please provide more details?

Thanks.

kctipton,

I read the DMOZ guidelines before submitting my site and do not see how either the site or the description I provided do not meet the requirements.

How else am I supposed to understand why my site was not approved (and make changes if applicable) if I cannot have an editor provide more details than "eventinventory.com link".

I think this is a fair request and if this is not the appropriate forum to discuss this level of detail, I would appreciate an alternative method of communication.

Because we don't believe our job is to teach you how to tweak your site to try and ease it into the directory. The site has been reviewed, it does not meet our requirements, we have chosen not to list it. We now move on.

It's like a job interview, thanks for you interest,we have chosen not to hire you. The prospective employer has no obligation to tell you why he chose not to hire you. He's not going to say, "Oh next time wear a different suit, choose a different name and maybe we won't recognize you as being the same person we chose not to hire last month"

In essence [amd being blunt] - we don't want to hire you, we don't plan on hiring you ever, please seek employment elsewhere.

[Please do not reply]

Look, I really do appreciate the fact that you volunteer your time and provide a great deal of help to people trying to get on the directory. At the same time, I don't understand why you have to be so abrupt when someone is asking a reasonable question.

I am an intelligent person, read the guidelines before posting and run a real, honest business. And before you say something like "well obviously you can't read because it wasn't approved", please tell me how anyone is supposed to decipher "eventinventory.com link"?

Your interview analogy is somewhat humorous but I would appreciate some feedback rather than this type of reply.

You're welcome to re-read bobrat's post. This time, take it seriously, don't laugh at it; read it for its informational value, and don't try to deduce his emotions.

It answers your question.
