My website <url removed> was recently dropped after being listed since 1999. I have read thread 45115 and do not see anything we have done wrong. Can anyone help? This sight is informational and commercial concerning the holistic treatment of horses. Should I resubmit?

Well, sites don't just drop out of the directory.

Questions to ask yourself:

Have I had server problems lately that would cause the site not to be available for eithe rlong periods of time or intermittantly?

Have I changed content in a way that would have disqualified my site from being listed?

Has my site grown stagnant to the point where the content was no longer with listing?

Is the content so vapid that the original listing was probably a mistake and the editors finally caught up with it?

In general, a website can disappear from our directory for lots of reasons such as:-

- It became unavailable and was temporarily removed by a robot. A human editor will re-evaluate it in due course.

- It's the kind of website that we don't list.

- It's being/been transferred to a different category and will reappear there in due course.

- We made a mistake.

By all means re-suggest your website just once to what you think is the one best category.
