Why would a site (unchanged) be removed?

Hello all. I understand and have read the rules about Dmoz for many years. I had a site successfully listed a long time ago - number 1 in its search results for its subject - and for no reason I can fathom at all it was removed from Dmoz a couple of years ago. It ticks all the Dmoz boxes for inclusion so I'm puzzled as to why it's gone. Have re submitted it a few times - not too often :) - and no result.
Do the Editors just randomly delete sites sometimes?

No, they don't.

If a site that was listed has been removed from view, one of the following has occurred:

  • A review of the site indicated that the site didn't meet our listing guidelines and it was removed.
  • The site was unavailable when checked and was moved out of the public view until such time as it could be re-reviewed. If the unavailability was temporary, then the site would be relisted upon re-review, although re-review can take some time. If the unavailability was ongoing, then the site would likely have been deleted.
  • The site was deemed more appropriate for a different category than where it was listed and was sent to that category by someone who didn't have permissions to make the site public there.

Estoy de acuerdo contigo dmozer depende del estado de animo y los ojos que lo miran al fin un editor no tiene que rendir cuentas por remover un sitio

[Google translation: I agree with you dmoz depends on the mood and the eyes that look at last a publisher does not have to answer for removing a site]
