Would love to be a part of The ODP

Hey guys I am new to the odp and seem to have a hard time becoming a part of it. (Though I really want to) The category I have submitted my site for seems somewhat outdated, with limited subcategories and old websites. Anyone have any tips on getting my site listed? It fits so well.

1. suggest the website to the ONE best category using a title and description that match the guidelines
2. forget about it and go on with your life
3. someday an editor will look at the suggestion and decide if it is listable (when that wil happen and who the editor will be are things we do not know)
