Hi there
I submitted a url a couple of weeks ago, I checked to see if I had been lucky enough to get it listed. I found the url but the description is someone else in another area of the country. I clicked the url link and it directed me straight to my site. What can I do please?
Thanks

Go to the category where your site is listed. Click "update listing." It is one of the links at upper right. Fill in the form.

Were you looking at the actual category or just our search results. Our search has a bug which shows sites that are no longer listed :(.

Yes it was just a search. My website shows as listed if I search for it. if I click the link it does go through to my site but listed to another person, will my site still be considered for inclusion? or will it show as already listed albeit to someone who isn't connected to it? Would you have any advice for me please?

If it's the domain name of the email address that you used to register here, it was listed in its then locality in 2006 but removed in early 2011 when the website became unavailable. It looks as though you registered it as a new domain (the name being available for reuse) in April 2012.

AOL engineers are the only people who have access to our search and they are aware of the problem where removed listings still show in the results. Don't expect a fix any time soon. Fortunately, we are a directory, not a search engine and the latter is primarily intended to find an appropriate category from keywords.

- Ignore our search results, look at the category.
- If your website isn't listed there, suggest it. Some editor will process it in time.

I notice that there's no address on the website - making a UK locality listing problematical because we won't know with any confidence where to list it. It's also contrary to UK legislation.

Thank you very much for your help, I didn't realise about the address issue on the website. I have added an address now. I'll re submit my site.
