On November 2nd 2004
I would like to know the status of my submission. I see that there is currently not an editor assigned to that category and recently visited the category above the Humor category:
http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Pets/Dogs/
Should I re-submit my site to this category and possibly the editor could suggest the best place for my site?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

First things first - a suggestion of that URL to the category you named has been received. Thank you very much. It will await review by one of our volunteer editors.

If the editor feels that it belongs better in another category (s)he will move it there.

With regard to your concern about the category having no editor, this is a concern we see quite often, and we wrote something about it in our FAQ, to which you should find a hyperlink towards the top of this page, labelled "FAQ".

Your best advice now would be to wait.

If, after 6 months have passed (i.e. after September 17th) you have not seen the site listed, and would like an update on the status, you are welcome to come back here to enquire. Best thing to do is to bookmark this thread, and then just Reply to it.
