I am new to this forum, and I apologise in advance for any faux pas I may commit along the way.

This site is already in the Italian affiliate programs, but I would like it to be listed in it's 14 languages for online casinos. Now, last March in Boston, I spoke with an ODP editor present and she, sorry I cannot remember the name, said that if the content is distinct for each languages that it shouldn't be a problem to be listed in all.

If this cannot be done, how can I have my site removed from the Italian section and put in the french or english casino section?

You heard truly. You should simply submit to the appropriate subcategory under each World/Language category. Editors that speak the language will review based only on the content in that language, and ignoring any listings it might have in other languages.

It might be, for instance, that your Catalan content is pretty bare, and there's a really slick Dutch website that covers all the material better than you do, so you wouldn't get listed in those languages -- but perhaps your Portuguese content is great, and your Polish content is slim but there's nothing else any better, so you would get listed in those.

But don't expect the editor to automatically copy the site to all the other appropriate languages. Occasionally we try, but language difficulties of various kinds usually keep us from doing an ideal job.
