I've lost my notes on this submission, hope somebody can still help.

It was about 3-4 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure but not definate about the category.

It really helps if you provide a clickable link to the category.

The queue of the category is empty and the URL hasn't been touched elsewhere.

When you say it hasn't been touched does that mean it will still be in a queue unless there was a submission problem?

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Financial_Services/Insurance/Motor/ is a more likely category.

http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Automobiles/Insurance/ is also possible.

Do you think it's sensible if I wait a week then re-submit if I still can't find it? How current is the db that we do searches on?

The search index was updated on Tuesday 30th July 2002.

Yes, it means that no-one has reviewed it, or deleted it. I'd also submit to the UK category - this is allowed in the guidelines and should not affect your first submission.

And please, don't resubmit. It just adds another unnecessary entry to the pile.

Trouble is I don't know which category I originally submitted to. (I know exactly what you're thinking and I agree with you!)

I don't want to resubmit but unless I know whether it's in a queue it's the only safe option.

Could you please confirm it's not in the queue of the two cats. mentioned above? If not then I'll have to re-submit. Sorry!

If we don't know what category, we have no way of knowing if it is still in the queue.

I realise that. However there are only two real possibilities:

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Financial_Services/Insurance/Motor/ is the most likely.

http://dmoz.org/Home/Consumer_Information/Automobiles/Insurance/ is also possible.

If you can confirm it's not in the queue for those then I will re-submit.

I'm afraid I can't predict how long it'll be before it's looked at.
