Yes, that was the category you picked. Your site is waiting with a couple of others to be reviewed, so no resubmission is needed.

Hi,
I just wanted to say that our website has had some connectivity problems over the past few days. I hope there was no attempt to review it during this time? If there was, will the reviewer make more than one attempt over a period of a couple days to try and access the site? Our site is still down at the moment, and we except for it to be back up tomorrow after the daily DNS update tonight.

Don't worry, http://dnware.com/ is still in the queue and hasn't been touched yet.

When reviewing a site that is down, editors have different approaches. For example, I usually add an internal note "Not accessible at the moment" and come back after some weeks. If the site is up then, fine. If still not, I delete the submission. But I know there are other editors who tend to delete submissions already the first time visiting a site without success. So, just keep your site up and running.

Hi,

Just checking back in. I know I should wait longer, but with only a few in my category I was just too anxious. Also, can I submit our site to more than just this category as long as our site pertains to that section? For example, we specialize in domain names, but we also offer domain name software, and domain name databases. So that would put us in the domain name category, software category and database category. Is this a wise choice? Thanks.

Hi,

Just checking back in. Disregarding my original post date, I think the site was submitted somewhere around this time in January. Just seeing how its doing now that 2 months have passed by and there are only a handful of other sites in the category. Thanks.

Sorry, but we dont recheck more then once a month. We prefer spending more time editing than posting to fora.

(Regarding the amount of forum posts some of us are writing - can you imagine how many editing time that means? Yeah, your right. Stupid us... ;-) )

Hi,

I think my sub-category finally got its own editor, so I am just checking back in to see if our website has been reviewed yet. Thank you.

Hi,

Curious as to the status? We updated our website and gave it a fresh/clean professional look. Hopefully this will help when it is reviewed. Thanks!

I believe the editor for our category is gone. :(

Am I going out on a limb by saying that? Its pretty much become pointless for me to ask the status as from what I can gather, nothing has happened to the category recently or within the past 6-7 months.

Seriously, this guy has disappeared. How can I petition for someone to replace him? Or can an editor here request a transfer?

Petition for an editor? You're still thinking of the "army definition" of "volunteer." Think of us more as a swarm of bees sampling flowers. You can plant flowers in sunny glades, but assigning a particular bee to a particular clover blossom?

"Request a transfer?" No need, editors can have rights in multiple categories. And a couple hundred editors (we call them "editalls") can edit anywhere without asking. (Think of _them_ as bees with external fuel tanks--they're flying right past your euphorbias to the sunflowers in the next county.)

Yes - the same option that every submitter has. :flower:
