That URL was never listed in ODP, it used to redirect to another URL which was listed - but removed because of errors your site had. Since you just resubmiited, you have to wait a month as specified in the posting guidlines. Please bump this thread in a month.

You mention errors on my redirected site. What errors? Where do I get info on errors and what you allow, etc? Very confusing to me, sorry...

Over the last year or two you have been submitting both mywebpages.comcast.net/kukla18/ and www.ekcine.com

This was not a good thing to do, because it causes us extra work dealing with it, and in the end is more likely to cause you problems.

Since http://mywebpages.comcast.net/kukla18/ was listed first, www.ekcine.com was refused since it's the same info and was a redirect.

mywebpages.comcast.net/kukla18/ was removed since it was getting DNS errors.

At this point, it's going to be up to the reviewing editor which, if any URL, will get listed. If you want to make sure which one gets considered, you should have the other site do a redirect to it.

I will point out to you that by using two URLs, you have diluted your efforts in other sites that link to you, since at this point you have links to both sites. However, that has nothing to do with the review of your site here.

DNS errors...are those dead links? I've cleaned those up on the comcast website.

"sure which one gets considered, you should have the other site do a redirect to it."... ekcine is a redirect to the comcast site, so I should list the comcast site, not the ekcine? ekcine is the site I post elsewhere around the internet and that is the site I want known and used with the behind the scenes redirect used seemlessly.

I certainly did not mean to cause any problems for DMOZ. Can I be put in contact with the reviewing editor directly and 'start over'?

Thanks

so I'm banished from DMOZ because of a mistake in submition? And no recourse, just totally igonore me?
Not all of us out here are internet experts. To be shut out because I'm not is just not right. I haven't tried to spam you or attack you in any way, I'm just trying to make use of the resource you are providing.

No, you may not be put in contact with the reviewing editor, unless the reviewing editor wishes. But it doesn't matter; many editors may do a review -- and in any case the review would have to be based on the site, not what someone said about it anyway.

The editors have said nothing about banishment: just that there were some violations of the submittal policies, and some submittals removed -- not for those violations, but because the URLs didn't work.

I hope that clears up some of your confusion.
