I submitted my site to DMOZ at least three times since October 2004 and have yet to see it on DMOZ. Can someone help me to let me know the status?

Hello,

I sent a submission in October for electric scooters, electric bikes and electric vehicles categories to DMOZ.

If you need anymore information to tell me of the status, please let me know.

Thanks,

Question on Status

Thank you for the clarification.

I was curious if the other listings I have requested to be listed in are still pending or will be included going forward too since I do sell electric scooters and electric bikes.

The reason I ask is that my competitors are also listed in multiple locations too.

Thanks again for all of your assistance. It is greatly appreciated.

No status is available on the others yet. We do ask you to choose the one best category.

The One Category

Thank you for the information.

I have been torn by the issue because electric scooters as a search term, receives a good number of visitors per month.

However, electric vehicles is more representative of my company.

If I had to choose the best, I believe electric vehicles is the most representative of the whole company.

Thank you again for the information and I hope the review of my site is positive.

Clarification and Question

I was curious (if anyone can help me) about having one website on multiple categories.

There are some of my competitors with mutliple categories attached to their site.

Is it b/c after they maybe were linked to one category, they resubmitted to request to be linked to another?

Just curious if I should wait after six months to do the same?

Thanks,

No, you should submit to the ONE most appropriate category. Retailers are almost never but never listed multiple times: if you know of exceptions, please mention them in our Quality Control (AKA abuse) forum.

Websites that are in multiple search engines

It is my understanding the for example zapworld.com is in electric scooters and electric vehicles.

That is my reason for requesting multiple links to my website.

I will report it in the respective public forum.

Thanks for the suggestion.
