Good afternoon DMOZ!

I made a post to:

for my site

I can't remember when it was, and there's a good chance I've over submitted and had them all deleted etc (why o why didn't I read the guidelines first?!). Could you please let me know if it's waiting to be accepted & if it is, what the status is currently?

this is a bit unrelated to your post, but I cannot get any of your "browse by category" links in the left nav of your page to load. Your .Net pages give me an operation exception - timeout expired on all of them. Just FYI...

thanks for the info. I can't recreate the error you are experiencing though! It seems to work fine for me.

I see no change in status since the last report. Sorry not to have better news.

You may ask again in this thread in 6 months.

However -- a site very similar to yours is listed in http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Classifieds/Business_to_Business/Businesses_for_Sale/ We wonder if there's a relationship.

Yes, we have a site in that category foccused on businesses for sale, where as the other site is for franchises. Do you think the similarities will stop us getting listed?

As I don't edit in either category, I don't have even a quasi-authoritative position on whether the categories are sufficiently different that you could have both listings.

However, if you couldn't have the same site listed twice, you cannot have two different sites listed (if we catch it).
